Market Undercurrents is an AI-powered research tool that monitors the hidden forces
supporting equity markets. Rather than looking at company fundamentals alone, it tracks
18 key market-support factors that can sustain valuations — or, if they weaken, increase
the risk of a correction or bear market.
How it works
- Research each factor. For every one of the 18 support factors, an AI agent searches for recent news and developments related to that factor.
- Produce a factor report. The AI writes a concise report summarising what is happening with that factor, and assigns a score (1–5) reflecting how strong the breaker conditions are, as well as a direction (up, flat, or down) indicating which way the support is currently moving.
- Generate a top-level synthesis. Once all 18 factor reports are complete, a second AI review reads every report and produces an overall synthesis — a high-level summary of the market’s state of support. This synthesis appears on the home page.

The Factors page lists all 18 factors with their current scores and directions, and each factor links through to a detailed report page.
